We had a very private room in the far corner of the garden area. It was a little tight with the four of us (two adults and two young children) but it worked and the breakfast was lovely. As far as a way to spend some time in Carcasonne before the tourists arrive I cannot recommend it enough.

Great hotel and super friendly staff. I stayed with a small dog in tow and that also worked out very smoothly as the hotel has an inner courtyard which doggies can use when needed. Location is also amazing, in the middle of the old fortress, so one gets to soak in the historic areas first hand.

Really nice hotel with very very friendly staff members. The room was great, with a beautiful view, and we had an extraordinary ride through the old city by one of the workers on our way from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is also in a good place for people who want to explore the castle without rushing because the city gates close at night therefore only people staying in the old city's hotels don't have to leave early.

A very gorgeous medieval hotel inside the city walls. If arriving by car you have to park outside the walls but it is only a short walk to the hotel from local parking. If you pay 20 euros for the secure parking then the valet will drive you with your bags. Our room had a comfy bed, a good shower and a bath. The only minor issue was quite thin walls so you could hear sometimes noise, tho the hotel was not busy this time of year.
