Fabulous weekend spent with 4 girlfriends in great location right across the road from entrance to medieval city. Our Grand Chambre had 5 bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Severe lack of mirrors made it difficult for 5 girls to get ready at once and dodgy staircase down to living area. Also, no sink downstairs to go with toilet which was a little strange. Staff were very friendly and I would definitely recommend

A charming big hotel with very helpful staff. The room and bed were very comfortable and quiet . My only complaint would be the toilet... don’t expect to close the door if you are over 5’ 6” ! The hotel offers little in the way of food but you are less than 5 minutes from the old town with lots of bars and restaurants. The terrace is great to relax in the sun. We didn’t use the pool as the weather was still cool in April. We loved Eliot the hotel dog... he would always have a home with us if he chose to leave France! All in all a lovely 3 day stay. Thanks to all at The Montmorency .

We had a wonderful stay and found the hotel very peaceful and relaxing. In a fantastic location the grounds, swimming pool and terrace are beautiful. Breakfast was amazing and we loved visits from the blue roan cocker as we have one too. 😀 The only thing I would have changed is the tree outside our room made the room very dark and the outdoor patio was unusable due to always covered in ants and foliage .

Loved this hotel! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Our initial reception was one of the best ever; showed us the best places to go to on a map, made us a reservations for dinner, and also a spa appointment. Had a lovely massage and facial. Enjoyed a cocktail on the terrace with the fortress wall in the background. Had a beautiful room with a stunning little terrace. Hope to come back soon!
